We are proud to partner with Alert Fitness in Green Valley 101 South La Cañada Drive Suite 32, Green Valley, AZ 85614, to launch the first military-focused foot care program in Pima County.

Active duty service members face some of the most physically demanding routines, often placing tremendous strain on their bodies. Foot injuries are especially common, as training frequently involves running, jumping, and carrying heavy rucksacks or gear. By focusing on the prevention, care, and treatment of these injuries, this program is designed to protect the health, performance, and overall readiness of our nation’s military personnel.

Tactical and military-grade boots are built tough — but that toughness can come at a cost:

• Rigid soles and poor ventilation trap heat and moisture, promoting infections and skin breakdown.
   

• Repetitive impact from long patrols or training can lead to plantar fasciitis, neuromas, and stress fractures.
   

Poor fit or worn-out insoles cause alignment issues, strain the knees and back, and erode endurance.
